This exhibition celebrates our school's 125th anniversary, showcasing the achievements of our art education and the exceptional talents of our students. It pays tribute to our history while promoting the essence of art and traditional Chinese culture. The exhibition features outstanding works from Secondary One to Six students, including paintings, digital art, mixed media, and group-designed class pages for the 125th-anniversary school magazine. Highlights include ceramic pieces from the Jingdezhen Traditional Ceramic Culture Study Tour and masterpieces from the Chinese Ink Painting Course led by Chocolate Rain, reflecting a unique fusion of traditional culture and modern artistic creativity.
We are excited to invite you to Ying Wa Girls’ School 125th Anniversary Art Exhibition, “Legacy in Bloom”. This exhibition marks a significant milestone in celebrating 125 years since the founding of our school. It serves to highlight the achievements of our long-standing commitment to art education and the exceptional artistic talents of our students. Not only does the exhibition pay tribute to the school's history, but it also embraces the mission of preserving and promoting the essence of art and traditional Chinese culture.
The exhibition will feature outstanding works from students across all levels, from Secondary One to Secondary Six, including paintings, three-dimensional creations, digital art, and mixed-media works. Especially for groupwork of class page design for 125th anniversary issue of school magazine, would be presented. Additionally, it will showcase exquisite ceramic artworks produced during the “Jingdezhen Traditional Ceramic Culture Study Tour”, such as wheel-thrown ceramics, hand-sculpted pieces, and underglaze-painted pottery. Masterpieces from the Chinese Ink Painting Course led by Chocolate Rain will also be on display.
The goal of the exhibition is to showcase students' passion and creativity in art-making while allowing visitors to experience the charm of blending traditional Chinese culture with modern art.
